Are you interested in being the next student member of the board of education? The student member is responsible for attending all meetings and brings a student viewpoint on educational issues to the Board of Education. If interested, please see Ms. Barlow in room 215.
Attention Student Drivers: Please remember that parking spots in the front of the school that are marked with a “Reserved for Staff” sign are reserved all day and all night. Students and parents attending evening events or practices at the school are not permitted to park in theses spots at any time. Thank you for your cooperation!
The SGA will be collecting gently used jeans through Dec. 23. The jeans will be given to shelters in our community and passed out to teenagers in need. There is a bin in the cafeteria that you can place your jeans into.
We have two holiday spirit days coming up. Monday, Dec. 22 is flannel day and Tuesday, Dec. 23 is ugly sweater and Santa Hat Day.
On Friday, Dec. 19, the SGA will be sponsoring a free movie night. We will be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Popcorn will be provided. Drinks and candy will be available for purchase.
Do you like Chinese food? If you do, please go to the Asian Cafe tomorrow to support the Middletown High School National Honor Society. Pick up a flyer at the cafe and 10% of your carry-out or dine-in purchase will go to the MHS National Honor Society. The fundraiser lasts all day, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, so come out and show your support!
You have waited and now it’s finally here! Tonight is our school wide pizza party! The senior class is sponsoring a school wide spirit night at Ledo Pizza on Jefferson Street in Frederick from 4:00 to 8:00. Be sure to mention MHS to your server and we will receive 20% of your bill. Bring your family, friends, teammates or even people you meet on the street! All are welcome! See you tonight!
