Are you interested in participating in Unified Track? There will be an informational meeting on Monday, March seventh in room 427 starting at two thirty. If you are unable to attend, see Mrs. Bator or Ms. Bagnell for information.

Representatives from the Frederick League of Women Voters will be at MHS in the cafeteria during lunches tomorrow. Students who wish to register to vote should stop by the table and be sure to bring an MVA issued driver’s license, learner’s permit or a social security number.

Come to the countywide Arts and Communication Academy Showcase and see your fellow MHS students showcase their talents; Alexander Hayes and Solena Rodriguez in advanced music studies and Max Lamb and Bryce Leber in advanced theatre studies. The showcase takes place on Wednesday, March second at  Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Artwork will be on display beginning at six thirty PM and Music and theatrical performances will follow. Admission is five dollars for adults and students and free to FCPS employees.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Empty Bowls Banquet which will be held on Tuesday, April nineteenth at MHS and can be purchased in the front office. Tickets are fourteen dollars for adults, twelve dollars for students, and seven dollars for children ages twelve and under.

There will be a National Art Honor Society meeting today at two thirty in room 412. Please contact Ms. L if you cannot attend.

Do you remember when your parents helped you learn to read by reading your favorite books to you before you went to bed take the time today to do the same for someone else. Today, feb 24, is national read aloud day. here is a video from Mrs. Leonards english classes. Taking the time to read a book to us.

FFA is a great organization that I am glad to be a part of and we hope that you are having fun celebrating with us this week. We hope that you will consider taking an Ag class and joining FFA.


Continue to celebrate FFA week with us with an ice cream social today after school in  the Ag shop. Don’t forget to bring in your donated care package items all this week. Donation boxes are located in the front office, cafeteria and Ag hallway. Help us brighten a soldier’s day!

Tomorrow’s spirit day is Twinsie Thursday, find a twin and dress alike.
Are you a good salesmen? Do you like talking to people and having fun while doing so? If so, join us tomorrow night at Tractor supply on Mount Zion from five to eight PM and help sell emblems.
