SGA is hosting a “Kick the Winter Blues Week.” Monday, February ninth is Wear Your Winter Blues Day, so wear any shade of blue. February tenth is Tropical Tuesday and we will also have a hula hoop competition at lunch. February eleventh is Workout Wednesday. Exercise is a great way to elevate your spirit, so dress in your favorite athletic wear. February twelfth is Heartfelt Thursday in honor of heart awareness and Valentine’s Day, so wear your favorite shade of red or pink. We will also be selling candy grams at lunch. All money will be donated to the Baker Family. All spirit day information can be found on the SGA board in the cafeteria

Attention Juniors and Seniors: The ASVAB test, will be offered at Oakdale High School on Tuesday, February tenth. If you are interested in taking this test, you must sign up in the counseling center by this Friday, February sixth.
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. Have you ever wanted to tell your friend how much you appreciate them? Share your feelings with your secret crush? Now you can! During all lunch shifts this week, the senior class will be providing free valentines for you to show your love and appreciation for your friends. These valentines will be posted in the cafeteria. Stop by the school store to fill out your valentine.
The MHS Drama Department will be performing a One-act Play Festival this weekend. Show times are Friday and Saturday at seven PM and Sunday at two PM. Tickets are ten dollars for adults and eight dollars for students and will be on sale in the school cafeteria during all lunches starting today and also available at the door before each show.
Last year our Bocce team took silver in the state tournament. Today, they try to return to the state tournament by competing in the district tournament at Oakdale at three PM.
Did you know that our wrestling team is ranked number one in Frederick County? Come out tonight and watch our wrestling team as they host Linganore at six PM. Finally, our Girls basketball team travels to Walkersville tonight to take on the Lions. Game times are at four, five thirty, and seven PM. Good Luck Knights!
