Attention Quill and Scroll members: There is a required meeting today at 2:30 in Room 312 for all members.  The meeting for those not going to the convention will be less than 15 minutes. Those who are attending the convention should plan on being available for an hour.  If you are unable to make the meeting, please see Mr. Kady in advance for important information.

The Human Resources department of Frederick County Public Schools is seeking two work study students for the spring 2016 semester.  Students must have basic computer skills, and be detail and customer service oriented. Typical duties are general office and clerical duties.   The position is located at the Frederick County Public Schools Central Office in  Frederick.  Parking is provided and the salary is $8.25 an hour.   See Mrs. Gibson or Mr. Zimmer  for more information.

Students who were invited to attend the awards ceremony today are reminded to meet in the cafeteria at 3:30 p.m. before the ceremony.

Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors:  If you are interested in a career in the military and would like to take the ASVAB test, please sign up in the Counseling office by Friday, Nov. 20.

If you are a junior or senior and have taken six social studies or history courses, consider joining the MHS Social Studies Honor Society, Rho Kappa.  Come to a brief informational meeting in Ms. Purcell’s room, 211, tomorrow after school.
