The time for shadowing at the Career Tech Center has arrived.  Kids in all grades can shadow a program between November Seventh and February twenty eighth. Students will now see Ms. Anders in attendance to set up a shadow and may begin doing that immediately. They should see her at lunch or after school. 

The Career Tech Center will be hosting its Open House tonight from six until eight pm.

There will be a brief informational meeting for anyone interested in signing up for or learning more about Mock Trial on November first at two-thirty in room 515.

SENIORS! You’ve been waiting since you were freshman to dress up in costumes for Halloween, and this is your year.  Stop by the Senior t-shirt sales table during all lunch shifts to pick up a copy of the guidelines and initial by your name.  You may also see Mrs. Boyll or Ms. Leonard for the guidelines.  We would love to see one hundred percent of the Class of 2013 participate!

For all students interested in joining the MHS Academic Team, there will be an organizational meeting tomorrow in Mr. Kirkendall’s room, room 216. Practices for the A-Team will run from two-thirty to three-thirty every Thursday after school.

All Tri-M National Music Honor Society Applications are due to Mrs. Bower or Mr.Shearer tomorrow by two-thirty p.m.

There will be a Maryland All State Junior Choir rehearsal today.  Please meet with Mrs. Bower in the chorus room at two-thirty pm.
 
All County Honors Chorus forms are due to Mrs. Bower next Tuesday, October thirtieth.

Students who are interested in a science internship at Ft. Detrick during the next school year are reminded that a meeting will be held tomorrow at two-thirty in room 305.  See Mr. Zimmer if you are unable to attend.

Seniors, representatives from the following colleges will be at MHS this week. Today: Virginia Tech. Tomorrow: Lynchburg College. Students interested in these colleges need to sign up in the Counseling Center.
