Isabella DeCoster is a freshman at Middletown High School and goes by Bella. This is her first year in journalism and is unsure if she will continue to pursue journalism in later years. Bella is not involved in any clubs at MHS, however she does Irish dance outside of school and competes semi-regularly. Bella is a military brat and has developed a love of travel due to her childhood and constant change of scenery. Bella is an enormous bookworm, has a rather eclectic taste in music, and has recently found a fascination with crocheting. 

She is capable of being incredibly ambitious, however there are times when her motivation begins to fade. She plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America once she graduates high school in order to further her goal of becoming a baker and business owner. In order to prepare herself for the career path she has chosen, Bella has already shadowed and applied for a Career Technology Center culinary arts program. Although journalism has almost no place in the future she is chasing, she enjoys writing and thought it would be interesting to find a new way to write.
