New England Patriots win Super Bowl 51

On May 11, Tom Brady was suspended by National Football League Commisioner Roger Goodell for four games; despite Brady not playing, the Patriots started out with a 3-0 record.

Many Middletown High School students said that even though Brady was found guilty, there should be some other punishment.

“I feel that he and Bill Belicheck should be suspended for a season or six games,” said Allen Chilson, MHS sophomore.

MHS sophomore Luke Pryor agreed, saying that “justice is servered” and wants Brady to be “suspended for more games.”

Other students however, thought that it wasn’t a big deal.

MHS sophomore Luke Hallman said that even though it was cheating,” it is not a huge difference” to the game they played.

MHS senior Losha Lautenberger agreed, saying that “weather conditions would’ve made the ball flat anyway.”
