Reactions: Southwest emergency landing

On Tuesday, April 17th 2018, Southwest Airlines flight 1380 made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.

Twenty minutes into the flight from New York City to Dallas, the engine failed, sending pieces from the engine into passenger Jennifer Riordan’s window, causing her to be partially pulled out of the plane.

Riordan suffered blunt trauma to her head and neck area, killing her on impact.

In response, Round Table reporter Heidi Daniels asks MHS students for their thoughts on this air catastrophe.
