Maryland lawmakers are planning to follow in Colorado’s footsteps in allowing for the legalization of marijuana in Maryland for production, distribution, and recreational use, according to the Frederick News Post.
“I see no harm in legalizing marijuana. I think you should have to be 18 to buy it, just like with cigarettes.”

Julia Kingsbury is a senior at Middletown High School. This is her second year in Journalism. Kingsbury’s future plans include pursuing a career in the journalism field, specifically, video production. If Kingsbury is not asleep, which would be very surprising, you can find her watching Netflix or hanging out with friends. Kingsbury hopes to attend Salisbury in the fall of 2015.
