Boys soccer team takes home the state champion title

On November 21st, the boys varsity soccer team fought their way to the state championship game after tough games in the playoffs. After a zero to zero score in the first half, the Knights charged ahead, scoring four goals in the second half. Clay Smith, Josh Woozley, and Evan Joseph along with rest of the boys in the boat worked hard and deserved the state championship title for the 2015 fall soccer season.

Freddy Roberts is currently a senior at Middletown High School. This is his sixth semester in journalism, and will be interning with the instructor next semester. Freddy is an avid journalist who loves to write and is interested in film study. Freddy is also currently a part of the Frederick News Post internship where he was chosen to write two profiles on CTE alumni. He is known for his ideographlm study skills and has been hired for many side jobs. Freddy has been a part of the Quill & Scroll International Honor Society for two years and has been to JEA Conventions and even New York City. Freddy is a key member for the live-stream producing of the morning announcements and the Game of the Week, hoping to continue his work with live-streaming and hopefully broaden his abilities in journalism. He plans to apply to an internship with Fox in the next upcoming year. Freddy’s major upcoming plans include applying to three of the service academies, hoping to continue his studies through the military. Freddy finally enjoys running cross country and pole vaulting, working at the Main Cup and spending time with family and friends.
