The Middletown High School boys’ basketball team hosts the Thomas Johnson Patriots tonight at 7:00 as they look to win their first game of the season after starting 0-15. The knights are coming off a 47-41 loss to Frederick in which they were leading most of the game, and at one point took a 15-point-lead. The Patriots are coming off a 3 point loss to Tuscarora, one of the top teams in the state, as they look to bounce back against a struggling Middletown squad. The bright spot for the knights this season has been their center Ian Grife, nobody on opposing teams even tries to drive to the basket in fear of their shot being sent right back at him by the big man. In reality this is a near impossible win for the knights as TJ is one of the top teams in the county.
