Boys basketball hosts tough Tuscarora team

By Dylan O’Toole

Round Table Editor

The boys’ basketball team will host Tuscarora tonight coming off a five point loss to a Carroll county team, Francis Scott Key. The knights cut the lead to three with 13 seconds to go, but FSK proved to be much in the end as they won by five. Ben Panther lead the way for the knights with 15 points, while Ian Grife and Bradley Rinehart each scored double digits. Tim Schumacher played suffocating defense and finished the game with five steals. Tuscarora took out Urbana in their last game, Kwa McDonald scored 21, Lamell Washington played a great all-around game, and he finished with 10 points 13 rebounds and five blocked shots. If the knights lose tonight they will have secured the spot in Middletown basketball history as the worst record ever. The knights lost 76-42 in their last game vs. Tuscarora and this game will probably be no different, as the knights will try to avoid going 0-18 at seven PM tonight.
