The knights (11-5) took out the second place cadets(10-5) in 58-48 win last night, to remain undefeated at home. The knights jumped out to an early lead behind senior Caitlin Mclisters’ 13 first half points, Middletown started out the game on a 17-0 run. Scoring the first 17 points by attacking the basket, all while holding Frederick scoreless with their suffocating 2-3 zone. When Frederick began their full-court press they cut the Middletown lead to eight, but that’s as close as they got. Senior Brittany George added 16 points and seven rebounds, while senior Tisa Mullins added 12 for the knights. Middletown will take on Tuscarora (9-8) this Friday.
