Girls lacrosse loses to Winters Mill, 18-2

April 2, the Middletown High School girls varsity lacrosse team faced last year’s 2A/3A state champs, the Winter’s Mill Falcons.  The Knights lost, 18-2.  Emily Boyce was strong in the goal and kept the defense on task as they battled the fierce Winters Mill attack, with 3 saves.  Caitlin Nolan, Madison Murphy, and Erin Kilonsky had 2 ground balls each.  Paige Covell and Erin David rounded out the defensive squad with one ground ball each. JV also lost, 13-6. Erin Wein had two goals and Gemma David, Randi Walker, Julia Karcewski had one goal each.  Sydney Frey had 11 saves.
