Girls tennis braces for upcoming challenges

After a huge loss of seniors two seasons ago, the girls tennis team is still growing with the addition of new and inexperienced players.

Lauren Cevallos, a four-year starter on the team, is looking forward to a strong successful season.

“I think everyone has their own goals they want to accomplish, like having a killer serve, being more consistent, or even getting it over the net, but altogether I think we would like to become stronger as players and closer as a team,” said Cevallos.

With March 1st quickly approaching, many girls can be seen on the tennis court, tossing the ball around on a nice day.

Hopefully, their hard work in the off season will further improve their skills once the spring season starts.

Cevallos seems to be optimistic about the upcoming events.

“I think if we build up our skills and work hard we have a good chance.”

Come out and support the girls tennis team this spring!
