The Middletown High School girls tennis team faced Walkersville High School in the first match of the season March 20, winning 3-2. Individual winners include Emily Maerz, winning 6-0 6-0, and Kate Smith, winning 6-0 6-2. Megan Cevallos and Kelly Robertson won the second doubles match, 7-5 6-7 (6-8) 7-5. The Knights next play March 27, at Brunswick High School.
