The softball team looks strong this year, led by senior’s Casey Burtner and Heather Bowen. Burtner is the team’s strongest pitcher and is a very good hitter, as well. Bowen is the catcher on the team and looks to repeat the talent she had last year.
The senior run team isn’t too experienced, but they have some new players who look to step up. Taylor Bradshaw is starting at center field this year in her first season playing. She has a strong arm and brings a lot of play making ability to the team.
Along with Burtner, Bowen, and Bradshaw they also have seniors Andria Christ, Lauren Brown and Kelly Thomas.
The team has a lot of inexperience since most of the starters from last years team graduated. This team is staying positive, though, and knows new players will step up.
