The Middletown High School wrestling team participated in the Frederick County Championship Feb. 21, placing second behind Urbana. The Hawks scored 222.5 team points, with champions at three weight classes; Spencer Strube (145 pounds), Adam Krop (119) and Peter Tatanish (135). Middletown, with 190 team points, saw Chad Strube win at 125 pounds and Brandonn Johnson at 171, giving them the final edge over third place Tuscarora. Feb. 27 and 28, Urbana High School will host the regional tournament.
