The Middletown Knights boys’ basketball team looks to continue their late season winning streak by traveling to Tuscarora tonight to take on the 12-5 Titans. The Titans bested the Knights in their previous matchup on Jan. 17, where the game was much closer than the final score would indicate.

The Knights (12-8) are riding a five game win streak, coming off a thriller over the Frederick Cadets. Ben Panther led the Knights in that game with 19 points, including the game winning layup with 2.1 seconds left. Panther is looking for another big game to lead Middletown over Tuscarora.

The two teams match up well, with their scoring averages only 3 points apart for the whole season. The Titan’s Anthony Naylor leads the Titans offense coming off a win against the Linganore Lancers in which he scored a game high 22 points. Tim Schumacher and the much improved Knights defense look to slow him down in order to get their sixth straight win.
