Katya Aliev, Round Table reporter
Katya Aliev is a Freshmen at Middletown High School. She has one older sister, a cat, and a dog. She enjoys reading, writing and eating Nutella. She loves anything that has to do with bears. Katya was born in April of 2004 and lived in New York for the first four years of her life, moving to Middletown Maryland in 2008. She won the Young Authors Contest twice in Middle School and a Scary Short Story contest when she was in fifth grade. She continues to actively write short stories in her free time. Katya also enjoys video editing and baking in her spare time. After High School she hopes to pursue a career in business, writing, or film. Katya loves to debate and write opinion pieces on current news events and controversial topics. This is her first semester in Journalism.
