What it takes to be famous

What makes a famous person famous? This question may be relevant for a number of celebrities, including Kylie Jenner.

Her dad is famous for a good reason – being a former Olympic athlete

Sure her half-sister Kim Kardashian is famous for a great reason- releasing a sex tape.

But what makes her so famous? Is it talent? Looks? Money?

Kylie is popular for her role on her family’s reality TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians (even if the show isn’t true reality and is scripted, she’s still a bad actress), Kylie has also recently become a known model for Ok!, Teen Vogue, Forever 21 and more.

There are plenty of average people who have the same “talents” as Kylie Jenner but they don’t get any public attention at all.

Kylie owns a clothing line with her sister Kendall. But would they have a clothing line if they didn’t have rich parents? Probably not.

Without the money she’s inherited from her parent’s she wouldn’t really be anything. She doesn’t sing, act, paint or draw, she doesn’t really do anything. She’s just pretty and has a ton of money.

So what kind of people should have the spotlight?

Maybe someone with an actual talent who contributes something to society.

There are plenty of famous actors who are in movies and TV shows, who actually work to receive money and get half as much publicity as Kylie Jenner.

This just goes to show how money can buy anyone public attention, even if they don’t deserve it.
