Brookies

Ingredients:

Cookies: 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 2/3 cup sugar, 10 Tbs butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, white chocolate chips

Brownies: 1 and 1/4 cups flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 2/3 cup sugar, 10 Tbs butter, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

For the cookies whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, sugar and butter until creamy. Add the vanilla, egg and egg yolk and mix. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and combine. Add the white chocolate chips. Roll into small balls and set aside.

For the brownies, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, sugar and butter until creamy. Add the vanilla, egg and egg yolk and mix. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and combine. Roll into small balls and set aside.

Take one cookie ball and one brownie ball and mash them together. Form a circle/ cookie shape. Repeat with all the batter.

Place brookies on a pan and bake for 10 minutes or until the bottom is brown.
