Try not to drag tomorrow’s clouds over today’s sunshine

Senioritis is an epidemic that hits most seniors around mid year of their senior year. Although for some people senioritis has already kicked in. For me I would say that it started the first day of my senior year and has worsened since then.

Senioritis is the decreased motivation towards school work displayed by students who are nearing the end of high school.

At this time in my life the thought of studying for several hours for a test or doing homework is less than exciting. It’s an awful thought for those who suffer from senioritis.

Even though I am currently suffering from this epidemic, I was have a conversation with some of my friends who have graduated high school and they all have different opinions about college. Some of my friends absolutely love it, and some don’t really enjoy it.

With different opinions from my friends, one thing was the same; it was that the work load and amount of time you have to put into school work is much more than high school.

The thought of this scares me; the fact that I’m currently suffering from senioritis and thinking about the amount of work I’m going to have to do in college is unbearable.

The more I think of this, I come up with a conclusion. That is to worry about high school grades and work now and not to worry about the work I’m going to have to do in college. I’m going to stay focused on right now and enjoy my senior year. I’m going to try not to drag tomorrow’s clouds over today’s sunshine.
