Mr. Middletown is a Middletown tradition where several male students, chosen by the senior class, compete in a pageant style competition for the title of “Mr. Middletown.” Middletown science teacher Eileen Chestnutt and choreographers Ally DeVriendt, Lyric Houldsworth, and Allison Kraje explain what goes into organizing the show.

Christopher Whitehead, Technology/Equipment Specialist
Chris Whitehead is a senior at Middletown High School. They are currently in their fifth semester of journalism, and are enrolled in both semesters during the 2024-25 school year. Outside of school, Chris enjoys hanging out with friends, playing the drums, and collecting vinyl records. Chris’ favorite album of 2024 is “Imaginal Disk” by Magdelena Bay and his favorite show from 2024 is RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16. After high school, Chris plans on “blowing this popsicle stand” and attending a four-year college to study journalism.
